Restart Day Two

Yesterday, May 5th, 2008, I started the 80-10-10 RV program again. Of course, there were the normal cravings for cooked food but I got through the day pretty well. During the night I had a mild migraine headache and since I don't believe in torturing myself, I took some pain medication which helped... I suspect it was due to caffeine withdrawal and detox.

This morning when I woke up, I felt better than I have in probably two months. Its hard to believe how much difference one day raw can make. My face already has lost it's puffiness and the normal skin blemishes are gone. The redness in my right leg especially from edema is almost gone. I didn't get hungry as early and a green smoothie satisfied me. It was a pleasure to go out for a walk.

I can't wait to see the changes... and my clothes should start fitting better as well!

Vitally Important Things To Remember

The opposite of competion is helping others to win.

"The Buddha advised us to post a sentinel, namely mindfulness, at each of our sense doors to protect ourselves. Use your Buddha eyes to look at each nutriment you are about to ingest. If you see that is is toxic, refuse to look at it, listen to it, taste it, or touch it. Ingest only what you are certain is safe." My Teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh.
